Remember - breast cancer affects both men and women. There are very few people who have not been affected by somebody in their life - be it family or friend - who has been affected by breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon means Hope - hope that a cure will be found, hope that the suffering will end and hope that those who do loose their battle have not died in vain. The Pink Ribbon also means a shared experience, and in that shared experience comes compassion.
